The Cheongpung Lakeside Cable Car is a cable car facility that operates a 2.3 km (1.4 miles) section from Multeri, Cheongpung-myeon to the summit of Bibongsan Mountain, and is operated with 46 first-class 10-person cabins from Austria's Doppelmayr, providing customers with a more spacious and comfortable boarding environment.

Bibongsan Mountain, at the top of the cable car, is a famous mountain with an altitude of 531m (1,742 ft.) located in the center of Cheongpungho Lake, named because it resembles a phoenix holding an egg and then soaring to find food. The view from the summit of Bibongsan Mountain in Cheongpungho Lake is surrounded by deep blue Cheongpungho Lake on all sides, making you feel as if you have climbed an island in the middle of a vast sea.
