The 22nd Jecheon International Music & Film Festival (JIMFF) is Korea's only music film festival where you can enjoy the moving experience of both film and music at the same time. Held from September 3 to 8, 2026, it offers in-depth film screenings, including the newly introduced International Competition section, along with a variety of music programs such as the outdoor performance 'One Summer Dream'.

'Yakchaerak,' presented by the clean nature of Jecheon, the center of Korean medicinal herbs, aims for a noble food culture where nature and people are connected as one through food. Since ancient times, Jecheon has been the center of the traditional medicine market, where medicinal herbs with excellent efficacy grew wild and were distributed, and it was born by reinterpreting that deep history into the language of modern gastronomy.

🌿 Origin & Philosophy of Yakchaerak

Yakchaerak carries the deep meaning of 'it is joyful to eat vegetables that become medicine.'

Going beyond a primary meal that simply satisfies hunger, it carefully prepares vibrant herbs and vegetables grown in mountains and fields to pursue both the pleasure of the palate and the well-being of the body at the same time.
This inherits the spirit of 'Sik-yak-dong-won', which means 'food and medicine share the same origin,' and fully captures the healthy energy of Jecheon's land in a single bowl of food.

🌿 Strict Selection Criteria and Targets (Selection Criteria)

In order to maintain the reputation of 'Yakchaerak', Jecheon City carefully selects only restaurants that have passed strict criteria and allows them to use the name.

Authenticity: In principle, excellent medicinal crops (GAP certified) produced in Jecheon, such as milkvetch root and angelica root, and seasonal local foods are used as the main ingredients.
Craftsmanship: We avoid chemical seasonings that create artificial flavors and harmoniously apply traditional and modern cooking methods that can maximize the natural taste and nutrition of the ingredients.
Specialization: We continue the trust of the 'Yakchaerak' brand by selecting only high-class spaces that have completed precise recipe consulting by experts and serve as models for others in terms of hygiene and service.
